countriesWe provided front-end engineering design (FEED) services to modoernise the HAOR in Baku to increase the refinery capacity and improve the quality of the fuel produced.
LOL外围The scope of work was for the development of a number of facilities and the integration of technologies by other providers at HAOR. This included new facilities for diesel hydro-treatment, isomerisation, methyl tertiary-butyl ether, fluid catalytic cracking gasoline treatment, sour water stripper, amine treatment and sulphur recovery. A number of existing facilities were also revamped, including those for crude and vacuum distillation, fluid catalytic cracking and continuous catalytic reforming.
The contract covered the fabrication, load out and offshore hook-up and commissioning of the topsides units of the Stage 2 platforms including the Production and Risers (PR) platform and Quarters and Utilities (QU) platform. The contract covers
The project was hugely successful with over 29,000,000 manhours expended without any lost time injury (LTI). The construction of the PR topsides unit, was fully undertaken in the country using local infrastructure and facilities. Over 5,000 people, including sub-contractors and specialist vendors, were involved in the construction works, more than 90 percent Azeri citizens.
We are currently delivering the concept and pre-FEED for the Kalamkas-Khazar co-development project. We also hold a multi-year engineering, procurement and construction contract in support of Kashagan operations. The framework agreement involves the provision of Engineering, Procurement and Construction & Commissioning, Project Management and Execution Services on both Kashagan onshore and offshore facilities.
We are providing Main Automation Contractor (MAC) services to TCO for the Future Growth Project-Wellhead Pressure Management project at the Tengiz Field in Kazakhstan. The automation scope of the Future Growth Project-Wellhead Pressure Management Project is one of the world’s largest industrial automation projects and the multi-year contract is valued at approximately $700 million. We have been supporting the project since 2013.

We have been providing engineering and construction support, including studies and modifications, to offshore and onshore assets on Sakhalin Island in the Russian Federation for more than a decade. Delivered almost entirely by our contract team in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, together with our Russian Design Institute (RDI) partner, Gasproektengineering AOJSC (GPE), the TSS contract covers concept, FEED study and detailed engineering for all SEIC assets including:
In March 2018, the contract team celebrated 11+ years LTI free. Staying true to our commitment of hiring local, the contract now boasts Russian nationalisation figures of 67% technical staff and 97% support staff.
We provided engineering and material supply for a steam reformer heater for hydrogen production at the Orsk refinery in Russia. The heater was based on Wood's proprietary Terrace WallTM design and formed part of a 75,000 Nm3/hr hydrogen production unit installed at one of the leading refineries in Russia.
LOL外围We are providing a feasibility study for the exploitation of the ‘Mustakillning 25 yilligi’ (M25) field, which includes the construction of a new gas-to-chemical complex in the Surkhandarya region of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The M25 natural gas reserves are estimated at about 100 billion cubic metres.
LOL外围We delivered hydrogen plant technology and design, and Terrace Wall steam reformer technologies for Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company’s OLTIN YO’L GTL plant in the Kashkadarya Region of Uzbekistan. Work included basic design engineering for the 37,100 normal cubic metres per hour (Nm³/h) hydrogen unit. In addition, Wood provided engineering and procurement for the steam reformer heater, as well as site advisory services.
